I sent a piece Because the Night Belongs to Worriers to the online humorous journal of women's writing, Funny Pearls - and it was accepted. Second time lucky!

My sister, Rhona and I entered our picture book Gulls Just Want to Have Fun, into the Southampton University's Green Stories for Kids competition, and we were one of four winners - out of 250. Now we've got to get it published!
